The Shinjuku Toho Building, which opened in 2015 on the former site of Shinjuku Koma Theater, is a building marked by the Godzilla head, which many people may already know. Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is located on the 8th to 30th floors of this building, commonly known as the Godzilla Building. This Godzilla-filled hotel is a special hotel that will make even adults excited.

A fun stay surrounded by Godzilla will become a memorable part of your trip.

Hotel Gracery is a hotel brand belonging to WHG Hotels, a division of Fujita Kanko, which also operates Hakone Kowakien and Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. WHG Hotels, which owns business hotel pioneers such as Washington Hotel, Hotel Fujita, and Hotel Tavinos, offers a higher class stay at Hotel Gracery.

WHG Hotels, which operates hotels throughout Japan, always keeps in mind the spirit of local production and consumption, proposing presentations and plans that are unique to each region, including interior design and breakfasts.

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, which has a total of 970 rooms, has many features that allow guests to fully experience Godzilla, its symbol.

When you arrive at the lobby on the 8th floor from the entrance, you will see a diorama with Godzilla's theme music playing, a display of past posters, and Godzilla goods for sale in the lobby, giving you a Godzilla feel. When you hear that, you might think it's for kids, but that's not the case at all. The impression is that Godzilla is there as an accent in a relaxed adult space.

I was also surprised by the large number of inbound families staying there.
I think it's because of Godzilla, but I heard that there are a lot of repeat visitors. It seems that there are many people who use this place as a hub to go to other tourist spots in Japan. Combined with the convenience of being in Shinjuku, this place seems to be attracting attention from tourists from all over the world.

On the hotel terrace side of the front floor is the GRACERY LOUNGE, a lounge that was recently renovated in May 2024. While the front desk is constantly filled with guests checking in, the lounge stands out as a place for adults to relax and unwind. During cafe time, you can enjoy carefully selected coffee from the staff, and during bar time, you can enjoy cocktails and sake while you relax. What's more, you can get a special feeling of being able to see Godzilla Head from here.
*Currently, it is not possible to go out to the hotel terrace from the lobby lounge.

Immerse yourself in the concept rooms that are the appeal of WHG Hotels

WHG Hotels has many concept rooms that allow you to experience the characteristics of the city and culture of each hotel. For example, Hotel Gracery Naha has the "Churaumi Room," Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo has the "Kabuki Room," and Akihabara Washington Hotel has the "Train Room." These elaborately designed rooms are sure to make your stay even more exciting.

The special room at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is, of course, the "Godzilla Room." The room is filled with Godzilla objects, including a trick wall where photos and art appear when you shine a black light on it, so you can be sure to get an immersive Godzilla experience. There are also six "Godzilla View Rooms," where you can enjoy a nearly life-size Godzilla (the "Godzilla Head") peeking out from the hotel terrace in the lobby lounge on the 8th floor right in front of your room.

Furthermore, the top 30th floor is the Godzilla Floor, and the floor is filled with experiences that can only be experienced here, such as a gallery exhibit of scenes from the "Godzilla Series."

Enjoy local cuisine with the concept of "Breakfast that makes you want to get up early."

One of the pleasures of staying at a hotel is the breakfast. WHG Hotels offers breakfasts that make you want to get up early, incorporating famous local ingredients and regional dishes that are unique to the area.

Breakfast from "Spice Up Your Morning ~Traveling Petit Dejeuner~". Breakfast from "Spice Up Your Morning ~Traveling Petit Dejeuner~".

"Spice Up Your Morning - A Traveling Petit Dejeuner" breakfast.

From July 2024 to September 7, 1, WHG Hotels will be serving the "Spice Up Your Morning - Petit Déjeuner" breakfast. You can start your day off with local and specialty dishes from all over France, such as "cassoulet," "Niçoise salad," and "frankfurters and sauerkraut." We especially recommend the "croissant verdu," a croissant soaked in eggs, milk, and cream and baked in a mold. This slightly sweet bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and you'll find yourself eating several.
However, please note that Hotel Gracery Shinjuku does not offer this breakfast plan.

There are many different reasons for travel, but the hotel industry is now facing the challenge of how to provide an experience that allows customers to enjoy their time at the hotel. Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is a hotel where you can fully enjoy the special feeling of being able to experience the overwhelming character of Godzilla.
