If you want to eat delicious hamburgers! After all, it's Tokyo/Taimeiken's volume.

Everyone's favorite hamburger roll. This time we will be introducing Taimeiken, a famous Western food restaurant.

Similar to the omelet rice section, I would like to touch on the type of hamburger steak that I was disappointed with. First of all, the inside is undercooked and looks like yukhoe. I don't really want to eat half-raw meat here. Rather than leaving the finishing up to the customer, I want the food to be cooked properly from start to finish. The second one is to put a large amount of cheese on top. I think the cheese taste kills the meat taste. Or rather, are you trying to disguise the taste of cheap meat? I doubt it. The third one has a lot of stew on it. Most people don't like this either.

The bottom line is that demi-glace sauce is the best. Of course, the fact that it has fried eggs on it is very welcome. So, if you want to eat hamburgers, I recommend Taimeiken in Tokyo.

The talented “Taimeiken”
One bite of that hamburger will leave you in agony!

Now, let's talk about the famous "Taimeiken" hamburger. He is known for being a business-minded chef with a dark tan as a chef. I think there are some people who think it's a frivolous store (lol). However, those who have been there at least once know that it is just a mysterious business performance (lol), and that it is a shop run by extremely talented people.

The first floor is a popular Western restaurant, and the second floor is a slightly more prestigious dining room, so if you want to see Mr. Modegi, you have to go to the second floor.

Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with anything you eat. Considering the ``coleslaw'' that everyone orders first, it's not unusually delicious. The sweetness of the cabbage cut into rectangles and the sourness of the dressing were both delicious. By the way, I felt that the ``Borscht Soup Ukrainian Style'' that came in a small cup was lacking in flavor. The only thing missing is this item.

Aw? When you put a knife into a hamburger steak, the juices don't come out, but it's a sizzling wave attack in your mouth. I can't stand it.

Even the coleslaw is delicious. A good balance between the sweetness of the cabbage and the sourness of the dressing.

If you eat this restaurant's ``hamburger steak'' on the second floor, it costs 3800 yen, which is very expensive (2800 yen on the 100st floor). However, there's a reason why it's expensive; it's because it's made with XNUMX% specially selected domestic beef fillet. In other words, it's the same as eating Wagyu fillet steak. Even though it's so expensive, anyone would be angry if it turned out badly, right?

Are you okay. It's just a matter of price.

The meat was incredibly moist. When you put a knife into it, the meat isn't very juicy, but when you put it in your mouth, it's juicy all the time. And very soft. The flavor of the specially selected domestic beef fillet is overflowing. Just one bite and you will be surprised at how delicious it is. I blurted out, ``Wow!'' Not only my mouth but my whole body is happy to be eating high-quality beef. Quite delicious. And I like the rich demi-glace sauce. It feels like the flavor of the meat has been boiled down with red wine, and it's luxurious with the added flavor of truffles. This gives the sauce even more depth.

The accompaniments are crispy bacon, baked potatoes, okra, and succhini, which are pretty standard. It's not a great supporting role for such a delicious hamburger. I think something with sweet boiled vegetables sautéed in butter would be better. However, I'm so absorbed in the hamburger that I can't help but forget about that. Well, hats off completely. I want to eat it again soon!

In addition, the crab cream croquettes, macaroni gratin, spaghetti Napolitan, and omelet rice are among the best in Western restaurants in Tokyo. This is a restaurant that takes food very seriously. That's why I want to try the ``Specially Selected Fillet Steak'' (from 10,000 yen/200g) someday.

Moreover, the service that has been around for a long time is also wonderful. For example, the menu says that spaghetti Neapolitan style can be made with shrimp or crab, but if you ask, ``Can you make it with ham instead of shrimp and crab?'' they will gladly accommodate your request. Star chef Mr. Modegi also takes photos with customers as they leave. It's so exhausting that it's difficult to find an announcer at this store.

What does "If you don't eat this, your life is ruined" mean?
Bassey, an editor with over 40 years of food-loving experience, is rumored to be a Reiwa-era Brillat-Savarin, or even the return of Furukawa Roppa, who rushes west and east to eat every time he hears there's something delicious to eat. A heart-wrenching gourmet essay.

Author profile

Bassey is a foodie who has been eating around for over 40 years. In addition to Japan, he regularly goes to Hong Kong to eat Chinese food at his own expense, and also travels to Taiwan, Singapore, Bangkok, and Seoul for delicious food. During his time as the editor-in-chief of a travel magazine, he visited many Michelin-rated restaurants around the world, especially in Europe, and later on in the World's Best 50 restaurants. We want everyone who loves food to try ``Crab Miso Bean Paste Noodles'' from ``Tenkorou'' (Hong Kong). Actually, I like the Chinese food at this restaurant the best in the world. Another example of the best Western food is "El Seger de Can Roca" from Girona, Spain, which was ranked number one on the World's Best 50 list. Ah, I want to go there again.
