Hello. My name is Nakajima from the Premium Japan editorial department. Ginza is a city where I often go for both work and private life. While casually walking around, you may suddenly come across a small company. Including the shrines enshrined on the rooftops of department stores, there were about 20 shrines that I could confirm on Google Maps. This time we will introduce some shrines in Ginza that are small power spots hidden in the back alleys.
Hodo Inari Shrine
Prosperity in business, fire suppression, and good matchmaking are your blessings.
A cute company located in the back alley of Ginza 4-chome
Go past the Wako Main Building on Ginza 4-chome and turn right at the second street heading towards Sukiyabashi. There is a narrow narrow passage in the building just behind Tenshodo. Hodo Inari Shrine stands ahead. This small but well-maintained shrine is the guardian deity of Ginza 2-chome.
It was founded in the Edo period. It was originally enshrined in Edo Castle to protect the heirs of the shogunate, but it was said that it was divided into separate shrines because it was said to have a very miraculous power to protect against fires. During the Edo period, there were many large fires, and fire suppression was an important blessing. Ginza is also home to many merchant families who pray for business prosperity, and worship of Inari is also popular, including the Hodo Inari Shrine. In fact, most of the shrines in Ginza are Inari.
The path in front of the shrine is wide enough that you can draw fortunes or share your stamps after visiting the shrine. It is believed that it will bring you good luck, so you can often see local office ladies visiting the temple.
Every time I go there, it's always cleaned and cleaned, and flowers are left as offerings, so you can tell that it's taken very good care of.
Goshuin stamps and fortune telling fortunes from Hodo Inari Shrine are also available. The cute wooden carving of Inari is the landmark.

Sachi Inari Shrine
Benefits include prosperous business, family safety, and matchmaking.
Inari statue enshrined from Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Close to Ginza-itchome Station on the Yurakucho Subway Line. Sachi Inari Shrine is located in a back alley that you might miss if you are not familiar with the geography of the area. This building was also built in the Edo period. At that time, it was called ``Tachiuri Inari'' because it was a market where swords were sold. It used to be located facing the street, but due to redevelopment, it was moved to its current location.
It is said that it was enshrined separately from Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto. Fushimi Taisha is said to be the god of business prosperity. This is a blessing befitting the city of Ginza. It is also said to be beneficial for matchmaking. The surrounding area is a building, but the surrounding area is clean and well-maintained, and you can see who is taking care of it every day.
You can see the lights of Sachi Inari Shrine lit in a back alley that you might easily overlook.
When you look up, you can see the evening sky spreading out between the buildings. On this day, I asked for the safety of my family.

Asahi Inari Shrine
Prosperity in business and safety at home are your blessings.
A shrine rumored to be the model for the movie “Weathering with You”
Asahi Inari Shrine is located in a corner of a building near Showa Dori. Is this shrine a model of the shrine on the roof of the building that appears in the movie ``Weathering With You''? There have been rumors about it, so I'm sure many of you know about it. It looks like it is enshrined behind the torii gate on the first floor, but the main shrine is actually on the roof. A pipe connects the first floor to the main shrine on the roof, so even if you pray on the first floor, it is clearly transmitted to the main shrine on the rooftop.
The coffee shop located in the basement of this shrine, Coffee Sanjyuken, is also my favorite place. While enjoying authentic coffee and sweets, you can spend a quiet time with calm lighting. Good for meetings, or when you want to relax by yourself. This type of coffee shop is becoming rare in Ginza, so it is very valuable.
Benefits include prosperous business, warding off fire, matchmaking, and family harmony. It is also possible to visit the main shrine on the roof. Detail isHPPlease check.
Asahi Inari Shrine
Daiko Asahi Building, 3-8-12 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
After visiting Asahi Inari Shrine, have tea time at Coffee Sanjuken. Shimamura has chiffon cake, and I have Sachertorte. Both coffee and cake are delicious. This is a coffee shop where you can spend a quiet time. I end up staying too long...

Although Ginza is packed with high-end brands and department stores, I think Ginza is a unique place with so many shrines that have been worshiped since the Edo period. This time we introduced shrines from Ginza 1-chome to 4-chome, but there are other shrines located in lovely back alleys. I'm going to visit the power spots in the back alleys and visit again sometime.
