Can you read it? The traditional Japanese color "Umemurasaki" is not pronounced "baishi"

What is the traditional Japanese color "Umemurasaki"?

Umemurasaki refers to a slightly dull reddish purple like the red plum flower, a beautiful, calm shade that is even redder than beni-muji. The color name does not appear in dyeing books from the Edo period, but since a similar color name, ume-nezumi, appeared in the early Meiji period, it is thought that umemurasaki is a relatively new color name. The dyeing method is said to have been created by layering red over a pale indigo base dye, and this unique color was created using traditional techniques.
