What is Japan's traditional color "Kara-iro"?

It is an evergreen tall tree of the genus Agaricaceae, which is native to subtropical Asia, and is one of the representative fragrant trees, the ``Agarwood''. Because it is hard, heavy, and sinks without sinking, the highest quality of the agarwood trees is known as Kyara, and the deep yellow-brown color associated with this color is Kyara. The origin of the word ``Kyara'' is from the Sanskrit word kalaguru, which means black agarwood. Today, it is so valuable that almost all species of the genus Agarwood are listed as Class 2 Rare Items by CITES.
