La Maison du Chocolat, the prestigious brand that has led the chocolate culture in France, has launched their new collection, INSOLITE, which invites you on a new taste adventure, for the first time in Japan. The first product, INSOLITE Curry, is available in limited quantities.
The innovative combination of chocolate and curry spices was created by MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) chef pastry chef and chocolatier Nicolas Cloiseau, who blends the spicy, mellow taste and slightly pungent aroma of Indian curry into an almond and hazelnut-based praline.
In addition, by kneading the spices directly into the cocoa butter and caramelized nuts, the vibrant fruitiness of the spices bursts forth with a burst of flavor along with the crunchy texture of the nuts.
