The Silk Evangelists Association, which aims to promote coexistence and prosperity with nature and to restore a sense of awe for nature by redisseminating its charms, will hold a founding anniversary event, "The Charm of Silk Connected to the Future." The event will be held at the Ota Ward Ikegami Hall for two days, November 11st (Friday) and 1nd (Saturday).

On Saturday, November 11nd, there will be lectures by Hisako Nakatani, president of the Silk Evangelists Association, Yohei Ashizawa of Ashizawa Sericulture, a silkworm farm that has been in business in Kofu for 2 years, and Professor Takeru Yokoyama of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, who specializes in sericulture.
