Atelier Shimura, which releases amber sugar "Shiki no Ka" (four seasons of sweets) expressing the colors of the seasons four times a year, has released the second edition, "Summer - Green." It will be on sale in limited quantities from Sunday, July 7th at Atelier Shimura's Kyoto main store and in the Seijo, Tokyo store.
"Shiki no Ka" is a collaboration with Japanese sweets designer YUKI FUJIWARA, who expresses the changing scenery of the four seasons and beautiful words through Japanese sweets. The first edition sold out soon after its release. The second edition, which will be released this time, is also so popular that the online store pre-orders were quickly sold out.
"Summer - Green" is inspired by the color "green" that changes between light and darkness. The amber sugar, which is reminiscent of lush, shining plants, has a refreshing taste of green tea and jasmine. Whether you look at it or sip it, it is a masterpiece that will make you feel the refreshing scenery of summer.
*The label on the box will be changed to the second edition, "Summer - Green."
The surface of the amber sugar is decorated with delicate lines reminiscent of the warp and weft threads of textiles, and the box is designed with a woven thread image. The refreshing "Summer - Green" design is sure to please as a summer gift.
