Flora Danica, a jewelry brand that has long been loved in Denmark and has deep ties to the Danish court, has opened its world-first flagship store, the Flora Danica Tokyo Flagship Store, in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
Flora Danica is a jewelry brand founded in Denmark in 1952 by its founder, artist Ola Eggert, who wanted to create unique jewelry from plants and flowers.
They developed the world's first and only jewelry in which fresh flowers are directly adorned with copper and then coated with 22-karat gold. Even now, when they no longer use fresh flowers, they continue to carefully handcraft each piece using forging techniques to mold natural leaves and flowers and coat them in silver or gold.
The interior of the store is Scandinavian style, with a white base and oak wood. Seasonal flower designs by Nicolai Bergmann, a flower artist and one of the owners of the brand, beautifully decorate the space, and you can leisurely choose jewelry in a calm atmosphere.
Flora Danica jewelry expresses the natural form of nature, such as "Four Leaf Clover," which faithfully reproduces the image of a real four-leaf clover, and "Parsley," which is made from a bunch of natural parsley. Why not try them out at the store?
