Tasting distilled spirits goes beyond mere drinking; it's a ritual that allows you to feel time itself. A special event where you can experience this philosophy is currently being held at Arts and Culture in the basement of Wako's flagship store in Ginza.
"The World of Vintage Liquor and Antique Glass" will feature rare vintage liquor and old glass supervised by leading whiskey importer Hiroto Matsunaga, and will also feature a special exhibition of antique furniture to create a special atmosphere.
The venue will be stocked with whiskeys and cognacs, mainly Scotch, that are 80 years old, and to represent their history, Lalique and Baccarat glasses, known as old glass, will be provided.
This project is being held as one of the commemorative events for Wako Arts and Culture, which will celebrate its first anniversary on July 2025, 7. Based on the concept of a "stage for time," the salon space offers essential richness through sophisticated products, allowing visitors to have an "experience interacting with time" that goes beyond just "tasting."
