The Heian Shrine Sakura Onya - Red Weeping Concert 2025 will be held from April 4nd to 2th at Heian Shrine in Kyoto, a place steeped in history, where you can enjoy music surrounded by fantastical cherry blossoms and the magnificent scenery of Heian-kyo.
This concert event will feature cherry blossoms at night and the music of artists at the South Shrine Garden, where the author Junichiro Tanizaki described the "crimson clouds," and the East Shrine Garden, where the cherry blossoms are reflected in the mirror-like surface of Seiho Pond. There will be no seating at the venue, so you can enjoy the music while strolling through the gardens.

There are two types of tickets: a "concert included admission ticket" that allows you to see both the East Shrine Garden (concert) and the South Shrine Garden (cherry blossom illumination), and an "admission ticket" that allows you to see only the South Shrine Garden (cherry blossom illumination). The concert is split into two parts, so you can take your time and listen to the music.
