A solo exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the career of copperplate print artist Yoko Yamamoto, who established her own unique world with urbane yet light and stylish colors, "50th Anniversary Yoko Yamamoto Exhibition: Poetry of Love" will be held at the Wako Seiko House Hall in Ginza from February 2th (Thursday) to 13th (Monday).
The theme of his fourth solo exhibition at Wako is "Prayer and Healing." From his 4th anniversary series "Angel's Eye" to his latest work "Ballad of a Sad Cafe," the exhibition seeks to find peace of mind by tracing the layers of love he expresses. In addition, he will be presenting a poem from his collaborative collection of paintings and poems, "That Person Has Come," by Shuntaro Tanikawa.
In addition, a signing session will be held on Friday, February 2th. Numbered tickets will be distributed to the first 14 people who purchase the book at the venue from 14pm on the day.
