Tezuka Osamu's works are highly acclaimed worldwide.The largest-ever exhibition of the classic manga "Black Jack" will be held at the Sogo Museum of Art from January 1th (Thursday) to February 16th (Tuesday).

What is medical care?"Black Jack" asks the fundamental question: "What is the purpose of doctors?"Black Jack, a brilliant surgeon dressed in black with a scar on his face, andgave birth "18 years old and 0 years old" The story of the young girl Pinoko continues to fascinate many readers and is respected even by practicing doctors.

In addition to over 500 manuscripts, this exhibition will display handwritten manuscripts of over 1970 episodes from the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion when it was serialized, as well as from books published in the 200s.

In addition to the manuscript of the memorable first chapter in which "Black Jack" first appeared, and testimony video revealing the secrets of when "Black Jack" was created, the book also contains the surprising and fascinating works of readers at the time.‶The exhibition will feature scenes of surgery on the human body viewed from a contemporary art perspective, a section looking at Black Jack from a medical perspective, and a section interpreting Black Jack using news footage from when it was first serialized.

Another must-see is "Grandma," which will be on full display only at the Yokohama venue. This is a famous moving work that cannot be read without crying, and it also serves as the foreshadowing of the copy "That's what I wanted to hear," which is the main visual for the Yokohama venue of the exhibition.
