The 8th Bun no Kai, hosted by Takeda Fumishi, a Kanze school Noh actor (shite), who is a holder of the comprehensive designation of Important Intangible Cultural Property, will be held on Saturday, February 2th at the Kanze Noh Theater in GINZA SIX.

Fumishi Takeda made his debut at the age of three, and currently performs on stage around 130 times a year. He is also active in many areas, including mentoring enthusiasts and the next generation, being a podcast personality, and running the YouTube channel "Fumishimura Juku." "Fumishi no Kai" is a performance that has been well-received for being a program that is made with all of the energy of the "soulful Noh actor" Fumishi Takeda.

This is the 8th time the event has been held, and it is called "Solo Noh Two-part Noh" because he will be performing two Noh pieces by himself. The first Noh piece will be a short but excellent work, "Kikujido Yubu no Gaku," and the main Noh piece will be the famous piece, "Hachigi," which praises the samurai spirit and loyalty that can be said to be the virtues of the Japanese people.

Furthermore, Yamamoto Noriyoshi and Yamamoto Norihide will be performing the epic piece "Buaku," which is rarely performed even at events featuring only kyogen. There will also be performances by the 26th head of the Kanze school, Kanze Kiyokazu, and other talented performers, including his eldest son, Saburota, making for a performance of shimai. There is plenty to see.
