"I was born in 1929 and am now 95 years old. Even with age, there is no limit to art. I am interested in what I see and hear, I always make sure to take care of my health, and I would like to continue to be passionate about pottery making in the future," says Inoue, who is always challenging himself with new themes and different styles in the world of white porcelain, where "perfection" is demanded.
This exhibition brings together works created with the theme of "seigaiha pattern" (wave pattern of the blue ocean), and expresses the wish for a peaceful life. In addition, about 100 pieces will be on display, including white porcelain created with outstanding potter's wheel skills, vases, incense burners, sake vessels, and tableware with beautiful contrasts of white and green glazes.
Mr. Inoue faces white porcelain with renewed enthusiasm every day. There are a wide variety of works on display. Why not come to the venue and take your time to look at them?
