At ``Chorakukan FRENCH LE CHENE,'' where you can enjoy French cuisine in a space that smells of Meiji romance, Japanese tea pairings are available, selected by a sommelier. The three types of matcha tea soda, sencha, and hojicha are all made by Ippodo Tea House in Kyoto, and the sencha is the new tea that just arrived this year. After the meal, we also prepared domestic black tea from Ippodo Tea.

Chorakukan was built in 1909 by businessman Murai Kichibei, known as the "Tobacco King," as a state guest house to entertain guests from Japan and abroad. Why not enjoy the taste of ``Japanese'' in Kyoto's modern architecture that uses architectural styles from around the world?
