Kyoto Genpoin is a former residence of a court noble built by Count Tokimasa Yamashina in 1920, and is a historic building that will celebrate its 2020th anniversary in 100. The Yamashina family passed on the ``Kimondo Yamashina style'' of procuring and wearing costumes for the court as a family job for the court nobles, as well as passing on the culture of the imperial court to the present day. In addition to being a lodging facility with a total of four rooms in two buildings, an annex and a main building, it is also a cultural facility that holds lectures on court culture and Buddhist rituals.

The lecturer will be Mr. Akiyoshi Sahoyama, chief priest of the Todaiji sub-temple Hojuin. As someone who has carried on a ritual that has continued uninterrupted since ancient times, he will tell stories that you would not normally hear. Additionally, this course will be supervised by Yotochika Yamashina, a 30-year-old heir of the Kinmondo Yamashina School.

He entered the temple at the age of 12 and attained a degree at the age of 16. He is currently serving as Todaiji Gakuen Junior and Senior High School Executive Director and Todaiji Gakuen Kindergarten Director after serving as Todaiji Registrar and Vice President of the General Cultural Center. At this year's Shuni-e, he was in charge of the conductor of the Rengyoshu.

Currently, he is the representative of the Yamashina Yusho Research Institute, a general incorporated association, and a researcher at the Doshisha University Imperial Court Culture Research Center. She is in charge of costumes for the Sankyoku Festivals ``Kasuga Festival'', ``Kamo Festival'', ``Iwashimizu Festival'', and ``Reiwa no Tairei''.
