At 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT in Tokyo Midtown, we will be holding a special exhibition titled "Fragments of the Future: Laboratory of Science and Design," which explores the "fragments of the future" that are sprouting from the ongoing encounter between science and design. The exhibition period is from March 3th (Friday) to August 29th (Monday, holiday).

The exhibition director is Shunji Yamanaka, a design engineer who designs a wide range of industrial products and researches prototypes that embody cutting-edge technology.

At the venue, Mr. Yamanaka will introduce the prototypes and robots he has created in collaboration with various people, and Yamanaka's sketches that are the origin of them, as well as cutting-edge robotics and robots born from new "encounters" between researchers and creators. A variety of works will be exhibited, including additive manufacturing, structural morphology, body augmentation, and bioengineering.

An exhibition where you can experience the countless possibilities woven together by science and design, and the joy of design as it moves toward an unseen future world. Visitors may be able to gently touch a part of the elusive "future."
