Hara Museum of Art ARC in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture is located in the ``center of Japan'', connecting the northernmost point of Cape Soya in Hokkaido and the southernmost tip of Cape Sata in Kagoshima Prefecture, among the four major islands of Japan. Hara Museum ARC is an art museum that consolidates the activities of the Hara Museum (Shinagawa, Tokyo) and the annex Hara Museum ARC (Shibukawa, Gunma) in 2021. Unlike the Hara Museum, which focused on temporary exhibitions, this museum mainly holds exhibitions of contemporary art and oriental antique art.
